Our Payment and Returns Policy

We’ve updated our payment and returns policy to reflect the changes in the cycling industry and how it has affected MK Cycles. We want to make it clear to our customers what to expect when making a purchase from our shop.

When purchasing stock items, paying labour or anything from our cafe, you are able to pay either via card payment for anything over £1 (contactless under £30), cash or BACS.

Parts for a service

If you book your bike in for a service, we will always talk you through what is needed before any work is done or any parts ordered. If your bike needs parts which are not in stoke we ask that these are paid for upfront. Any labour charges can be paid once your bike has been completed and ready to collect.

We will accept full returns on items bought in the store that are in their original packaging with the seals intact. For items bought in store but not as above, we may issue a credit note. For special items ordered in error by the customer, there may be a restocking fee with the supplier which we may pass on to you.

If you have any questions, please contact us immediately either by phone on 01204 412762, email mkcycles@hotmail.co.uk or come into the shop and speak directly to a member of staff, MK Cycles, Unit 20, Belmont Works, Egerton Road, BL78BN.

Parts and Labour

We may fit parts that we are unable to source from our own suppliers, however, we do not fit parts bought elsewhere which can be sourced by ourselves.

Please note:

We will ask all customers to make sure your bike(s) is clean before you drop it off for a service or to have parts fitted. If it arrives dirty we will offer a cleaning service for an extra £10. It can take up to 30mins plus to clean a bike properly and it may even need to be striped down to get to the really tough areas. Thank you in advance.
